Hi,
There was a question as to whether or not this individual was a doctor. This was my grandfather, and he was a dermatologist in Chicago. He was also a member of the French equivalent of the American Medical Association.

He was quite the traveler, and I've traced him on many voyages through Ellis Island. It is nice to see that he continued traveling by ship even after this incident.
